Welcome to Glint. These Terms govern your access to and use of Glint's software, website, and related services. By downloading, installing, or using Glint, you agree to the Terms below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Local-first storage

Your workspace data lives on your device by default. Nothing is shared with Glint unless you intentionally export or send it.

You own your content

Websites, notes, and ideas you load into Glint remain yours. We do not claim any rights over your projects.

Built for respectful use

Use Glint in accordance with local laws and without harming other people, systems, or communities.

1. Use of the Service

Glint is a spatial workspace application that helps you organize ideas with browser tabs and other integrations. Use it only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that disrupts or harms others.
  • Attempt to circumvent access restrictions or security measures.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

Some features may require an account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum legal age in your region to use Glint.

3. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Workspace data is stored locally on your device, and we do not access your content unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4. Software Updates

We may ship updates, bug fixes, or new features. Some install automatically, while others may require manual action.

Parts of the Service can be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time.

5. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you load, view, or store inside Glint.

Ensure you have the right to access and use any content you import into the app.

We never claim ownership over your content.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to Glint, including branding, software, and visual design belongs to the Glint team.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

7. Third-Party Content

Glint may display or interact with content from third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not control.

We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of third-party content.
  • Availability of third-party websites.
  • Any damages arising from third-party sites you access through Glint.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the Service.

When your access ends, your license to use Glint stops, but you still own your local content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about:

  • Accuracy
  • Reliability
  • Availability
  • Compatibility

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glint and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service, if any.

11. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of Glint after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
